Williamson lives in London and has created performances and videos in many countries, including Greenland, Japan, USA, China, South America and throughout Europe. A book, Aaron Williamson: Performances, Videos, Collaborations was published by the Live Art Development Agency/Kingston University in 2008. A retrospective of video works The Bell-Clapper and Bestiary was exhibited at Spike Island, Bristol, 2010. Williamson’s most recent performance was for the Sixth Sense in Performance Art Festival, Taiwan, 2010 where he presented The Uses of Grass to the Sanying aboriginal people facing eviction from their tribal land.
